Job description

We have an opportunity for a Cleaning Technician to join our Estate Services team in Harrogate. This is a lone working role on a site for older persons. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the scheme by daily hoovering, dusting, and ensuring all areas are kept clean and tidy according to the site specifications. You will liaise with customers and address any questions they may have. We are seeking a team player capable of providing high-quality service that meets our customers' needs.

The role of Cleaning Technician includes:

  1. General cleaning duties such as mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
  2. Identifying and reporting hazards or faults on site to maintain safety
  3. Providing accurate updates on work progress
  4. Maintaining tools and equipment in good condition and managing stock levels
  5. Providing professional, courteous, and customer-friendly service

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Experience in general cleaning duties
  • Practical experience operating cleaning machinery
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritize tasks
