East Dunbartonshire Council is seeking a part-time Cleaning Team Leader at Hillhead Primary Nursery. This role includes overseeing cleaning services and ensuring customer satisfaction while managing a team. Candidates will need to meet specific PVG requirements for employment.

Salary: £25,310.84 - £27,510.11 per year (pro rata)

Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Please note that salary will be pro-rated for part-time hours.
This is not a term-time post.
The role of Cleaning Team Leader involves assisting in the effective provision of Facilities Management Cleaning Services to all customers, supervising the Facilities Management Operational Cleaning Team, providing excellent customer service, and helping to meet performance targets.
All roles within East Dunbartonshire Council that require PVG/Disclosure checks will adhere to the following criteria:
Successful candidates for Regulated Roles under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020 will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before employment is confirmed.
The cost of the check will be deducted from the first salary payment. In some cases, this deduction may be made in installments following employment commencement, subject to approval by the HR & OD Manager. If an employee leaves before the deduction, the full amount will be deducted from the final salary.
This criteria also applies to existing employees applying for roles requiring PVG/Disclosure checks.
