Job Title: Cleaning Team Leader

Hourly Rate of Pay: £12.90

Position Type: Permanent, Part Time

Weekly Contractual Hours: 30

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 14:00 to 20:30, with a 30-minute unpaid break

Location: Sellafield, Cumbria Consortium, Birchwood Park Avenue, Birchwood, Warrington, Cheshire, England, WA3 6GR

Please Note: The Cleaning Team Leader is required to supervise a small team of cleaning operatives working the afternoon shift.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Cleaning Team Leader to manage a cleaning team, including staff recruitment and development, and maintaining high service standards for routine and periodic cleaning for a Mitie client.

The responsibilities include ensuring the team understands and follows task schedules, adhering to Health & Safety procedures, providing technical training as needed, and ensuring compliance with Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. The role involves distributing uniforms, monitoring cleanliness standards, managing material use, and stock ordering. You will address issues professionally and efficiently, escalating to the line manager when necessary.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory and cleaning experience, excellent communication skills, reliability, a professional attitude, and the ability to work independently according to a schedule.
