Job summary

Westwood Recruitment is seeking a motivated Cleaning Supervisor for night shifts. You will lead a team of cleaners, plan deep cleaning schedules and ensure work is completed to high hygiene standards in line with client requirements.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong cleaning knowledge, and the ability to manage a team during night hours while upholding health & safety and COSHH regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a cleaning team and coordinating duties.
• Solid knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
• Familiarity with health and safety practices and COSHH regulations.

Cleaning Supervisor - Night Shifts

Pay Rate: £14.21 per hour

Shift Pattern: 4on-4off. 7:00pm - 7:00am

The Role

We're looking for a motivated and reliable individual to lead and supervise a team of night cleaners ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest hygiene and safety standards, in line with company procedures and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the night cleaning team, allocating tasks and monitoring performance.
• Plan and deliver deep cleaning schedule.
• Complete shift reports and maintain attendance records.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, COSHH, and company policies.
• Liaise with management regarding staffing, supplies, and operational issues.
• Provide hands‑on cleaning support when required.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques (especially deep cleaning), chemicals, and equipment.
• Ability to work night shifts and manage a team effectively.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
