Role – Cleaning Supervisor
Duration – temp – perm role
Location – North West, covering Wigan, Warrington, Bolton, Manchester, Winsford, Ellesmere & Liverpool.
Hours – 40 hrs per week (working 8 hours shifts between – 8am–6:30pm, 5 days out of 7)
Pay – £13.86ph

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced and proactiveSoft Services Supervisorto oversee our catering, domestic, and laundry services across the North West. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our teams deliver excellent customer service, maintain the highest hygiene and cleanliness standards, and comply with all company and NHS requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service and respond promptly to client requests with a professional, “can do” attitude.
  • Supervise and support staff to maximise productivity and maintain high service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Hygiene, HACCP, and NHS National Standards of Cleanliness.
  • Oversee rotas to ensure full staffing coverage and accurate timesheets.
  • Manage stock levels, supplier performance, and equipment use.
  • Conduct regular audits, performance monitoring, and staff training.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, and Infection Controlregulations.
  • Provide out-of-hours support when required and maintain regular communication with your line manager.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in a similar supervisory role within catering, cleaning, or soft services.
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene, HACCP, and cleaning standards.
  • Confident using IT systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Experience with auditing, performance management, and training.
Qualifications
  • Food Hygiene Level 3 (essential)
  • IOSH Managing Safely (preferred)
  • Previous supervisory experience within healthcare, facilities, or similar environments.
  • Flexible and able to work occasional unsociable hours when required.
