A local authority in Scotland is seeking enthusiastic individuals for cleaning roles within schools. Applicants must have supervisory experience and knowledge of commercial cleaning. The position involves overseeing staff and maintaining cleanliness standards at several school locations, with part-time hours available. NLC3 - £25,437 – £26,412 (Pro Rata)
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to work as part of a team, undertaking the cleaning of school premises to ensure they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition. The role also involves overseeing the work of cleaning staff and maintaining quality standards.
Applicants should have previous supervisory experience and experience in commercial cleaning, with knowledge of various cleaning equipment and products, as well as health and safety considerations.
You should be self-motivated, flexible, able to work as part of a team, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Problem-solving skills and initiative are also essential.
You will need to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member before starting in this role.
