Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations on site. You will act as the primary contact for the client and site managers, coordinating a team and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety.

The role includes staff training, induction, and maintaining training records, while leading by example and enforcing safe working practices. A valid right to work in the UK and prior cleaning supervision experience are required.

• Demonstrable people skills or experience coordinating a team.
• Experience cleaning in a similar environment or transferable skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the client/manager’s main point of contact on site.
• Coordinate and drive on-site cleaning activities with the team.
• Support the manager with training and induction of new staff and maintain training records.

About The Role

Working Pattern

08:00 - 16:00 with 30 minutes unpaid break.

Are you passionate about maintaining cleanliness and ensuring impeccable standards in a busy site?

As a Cleaning Supervisor you will oversee the effective supervisory and safety concerns when it comes to daily operations on site within the cleaning team.

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• To be the clients/Managers main point of contact on site
• To co-ordinate and drive a team on site, whilst completing core cleaning duties with the team
• To support the manager with the training and induction of new staff, and the completion of training records
• To lead by example when completing task, following the safe systems of work and method statements

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Must have right to work in the UK
• To have demonstratable people skills or experience co-ordinating a team
• Experience cleaning in a similar environment or transferable skills, knowledge, and understanding
• Understanding of COSHH and H&S compliance on similar sites/environments
• Experience in training and inducting colleagues
