Job description

BAM FM is recruiting a Cleaning Supervisor to be based at Adanac Park in Southampton.

• 37.5 hours a week,
• Monday to Friday 8.45am - 5.15pm

Your mission

• Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with key performance indicators.
• Ensure all tasks comply with health, safety, and compliance guidelines, rules, and procedures.
• Manage cleaning tasks from the PDR device and job cards within the designated timeframes.
• Manage staffing levels, including annual leave, and report to the Facilities Manager when necessary.
• Supervise cleaning staff through daily personal communication and appropriate communication methods.
• Maintain adequate stocks of consumables and submit replenishment requests in a timely manner within financial limits.
• Collate and submit staff timesheets and monthly absence reports.
• Conduct periodic performance audits of your team and site.
• Assist in training cleaning staff on equipment and methodology following BICS standards.
• Conduct monthly Toolbox Talks (TBT) as per company requirements.
• Ensure staff compliance with the BAM FM Code of Conduct.
• Monitor and record staff holidays according to BAM policies and procedures.
• Operate within the wider One BAM ethos and foster good client relationships.
• Report any shortfalls or concerns to the Facilities Manager.

Who are we looking for?

• Previous supervisory experience in a similar cleaning environment with team management skills.
• Knowledge of COSHH and H&S is advantageous.
• Ability to motivate staff, manage performance, and ensure standards and training requirements are met.
