Job summary

Compass Group UK&I Defence is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Supervisor on a part-time basis (32 hours per week) to help ensure the smooth running of operations.

Responsibilities

• Check and store deliveries promptly and correctly.
• Supervise a team and foster a welcoming, supportive environment.
• Act as a responsible key holder.
• Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties.
• Produce weekly rotas according to the manager's guidelines.
• Place stock orders to maintain correct stock levels.
• Delegate tasks and ensure the team stays proactive.
• Ensure compliance with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety standards.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Cleaning Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Defence on a part time basis, contracted to 32 hours per week.

Here’s an idea of what your shift patterns will be: Mon-Fri (Full Time Days)

Your key responsibilities may include:

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager’s guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations

Our ideal Cleaning Supervisor will:

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment
• Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service
• Team player and can-do attitude
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
