Job summary

Compass Group UK is hiring a Cleaning Supervisor on a part-time basis to support Defence operations. The role is contracted to 30 hours per week with a 50.2 week per year pattern, offering opportunities to progress within the organisation.

You will work with cleaning and facilities teams to maintain high standards, and you should be adaptable, detail-oriented and committed to safe, hygienic environments for clients and customers.

Responsibilities

• Work with cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for clients and customers.
• Dust, sweep, polish, mop and vacuum designated areas to a high standard.
• Regularly sanitise surfaces, floors and touchpoints.
• Perform additional cleaning duties and mop spillages quickly.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Cleaning Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Defence on a part time basis, contracted to 30 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.

Our ideal Cleaner will:

• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands‑on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
