Overview of Role:
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for undertaking cleaning duties across the site, ensuring a comprehensive cleaning and housekeeping service in compliance with CQC and Health & Safety Regulations.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Supervise a team of cleaning staff across designated site(s), supporting the Account Management team.
- Build effective relationships with employees, ensuring productive and safe work practices.
- Maintain a professional, courteous demeanor in line with company policies and values.
- Collaborate with site teams to deliver excellent service and enhance client satisfaction.
- Support and guide cleaning teams to meet high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, including tasks such as washing floors, emptying bins, vacuuming, and bathroom cleaning.
- Report maintenance issues to management.
- Address customer requirements and concerns proactively.
- Conduct regular site cleaning audits, addressing any failures within 48 hours.
- Assist in recruiting and training new staff, including site familiarization and procedures.
- Provide hands-on cleaning support as needed.
- Deliver safety training and record-keeping, including toolbox talks.
- Assign duties to cleaners, ensuring standards are maintained.
- Organize rotas and manage timesheets.
- Manage equipment, materials, and stock levels, placing orders when necessary.
- Maintain good relationships with customer representatives.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations at all times.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by line management.
About You:
- Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor.
- Hands-on approach.
- Ability to build credible relationships.
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Experience with audits and maintaining high standards.
- Motivational and responsive leadership skills.
- Self-motivated with flexibility and team spirit.
- Strong organizational skills.
