Job summary

ISS UK Limited is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to lead a team in delivering high standards of cleaning across its sites in the Manchester area. You will manage schedules, supervise staff, and ensure safe, efficient operations with a strong emphasis on customer service and staff development.

The role is permanent with an early-evening shift pattern (Monday to Friday, 17:00–20:30) and a pay rate of £15.50 per hour.

The Role

• Plan, organise, and coordinate cleaning operations to meet financial and performance targets
• Lead by example with a passion for customer service and strong, inspiring leadership
• Set and maintain high standards for yourself and your team
• Create and manage cleaning schedules for your team
• Deliver an exceptional level of cleaning service within your area of responsibility
• Carry out general cleaning duties, including offices, meeting rooms, toilets, showers, vacuuming, and mopping
• Use all cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
• Maintain a safe working environment in line with Health & Safety regulations and company standards
• Report any hazards, near misses, or safety concerns promptly to your manager
