Job summary

St Thomas More RC College is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee a team of cleaners and allocate tasks while maintaining high cleanliness standards across the school.

You will supervise cleaning staff, schedule tasks, and ensure all areas are properly cleaned and maintained with emphasis on health and safety and quality assurance.

What skills and experience we're looking for The post-holder will work under the guidance of the Business Manager to oversee a team of cleaners.

You will help supervise the work of the cleaning staff and allocate tasks accordingly.

Team leadership:Manage and guide a team of cleaning staff to maintain high standards.

Operational oversight:Schedule cleaning tasks and ensure all areas of the school are properly cleaned and maintained.

Oversee and undertake general cleaning duties.

Time Management: You will have the ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks to a high standard and coordinate and motivate your team to do the same, as they will be working with minimal supervision.

Health and safety:Be knowledgeable about and enforce all relevant health and safety procedures, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Stock Management: Be responsible for ordering and stock control

Quality assurance:Inspect work to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met throughout the school environment.
