Job summary

Bury Church of England High School is seeking two cleaners to join our facilities team. This role involves providing a thorough cleaning service during after-school hours, 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during term time.

The posts are permanent, with a starting salary aligned to SCP 3 at Grade A (£24,796 FTE) but actual salary for the part-time hours is £5,603.65, reflecting part-time commitment. Successful applicants will work a professional, supportive team and contribute to a safe,

YOUR MAIN DUTIES WOULD BE:

To provide a cleaning service within the school premises:



  1. Perform commercial cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising designated areas.

  2. Empty bins and dispose of waste properly.

  3. Clean washrooms and restock supplies as needed.

  4. Report any damages or repairs to management promptly.

  5. Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times.
