Job summary

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Cleaning Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Energy on a part time basis, contracted to 16 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supervise and support the cleaning team to ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Allocate daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance and training to team members where required.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, identifying and addressing any cleaning or maintenance issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, COSHH regulations, and company policies at all times.
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting stock requirements and ensuring resources are used efficiently.
• Complete relevant records, audits, and reports, ensuring operational standards are consistently met across the site.

Our Ideal Cleaning Supervisor Will

• Have previous cleaning supervisory experience, ideally within a commercial, facilities management, hospitality, or Defence environment.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Possess a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards.
• Have a good understanding of health and safety practices, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Be organised, reliable, and capable of prioritising workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Have excellent communication skills and a proactive, customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
