Job summary

ISS Facilities Services in Cardiff seeks a proactive Cleaning Supervisor to lead front-line Placemakers, ensure health and safety compliance and build strong client relationships. This permanent, full-time role includes coordinating recruitment, audits and service delivery to meet SLAs and KPIs.

A full UK driving licence is essential, and a company van will be provided. The position is field-based across the UK sector with a focus on continuous improvement and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct line management and day-to-day support to front-line Placemakers.
• Maintain strong client engagement and build positive working relationships to support service delivery.
• Support account management teams in delivering best-in-class service and performance across KAN accounts.
• Work collaboratively with the OSC job management team to ensure contractual SLA and KPI requirements are met.
• Conduct planned visits with each Placemaker, ensuring every individual is visited at least every six weeks.
• Oversee health and safety compliance, complete audits and support continuous improvement activities.
• Manage employee induction, training records, mandatory e-learning compliance and ongoing development.
• Coordinate recruitment and vetting activities with the Sector Manager, ensuring compliance requirements are met and vacancies are filled within 48 hours.
• Manage reactive work requests, including carpet cleaning and low-level weeding, ensuring timely completion.
• Monitor consumable stock levels, coordinate uniform ordering, maintain tidy store rooms and complete site audits.
