Salary: £12.85 per hour

Hours: 15 hours per week
Monday to Friday 15:00 - 18:00
Contract: Permanent

DBS: All school-based roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check in line with “Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023”. DBS results will be considered and risk assessed in partnership with the relevant school safeguarding lead.

Job Description

• Ensure daily cleaning of all areas to a satisfactory standard through regular inspections and monitoring.
• Implement and adhere to company Health & Safety guidelines at all times.
• Maintain on-site equipment and machinery in a clean and safe condition, reporting faults immediately.
• Complete administrative duties including timesheets, log sheets, and ordering materials and equipment.
• Assist Area Managers in training cleaning operatives.
• Keep cleaning store rooms and sluice areas clean and safe.
• Organize staff coverage during absences.
• Liaise with site management regarding cleaning matters.
• Handle minor disciplinary and grievance issues, reporting escalations to the Area Manager.
• Perform other reasonable duties as required.
