Overview of Role:

As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will support the Account Management team in supervising a team of cleaning staff across designated sites. Your role involves building effective relationships, ensuring productive and safe work practices, and collaborating with site teams to deliver excellent service.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

  1. Support and guide cleaning teams to achieve high service standards.
  2. Address customer requirements and concerns.
  3. Conduct regular site cleaning audits.
  4. Assist in recruiting and training new employees, including site familiarisation with cleaning regimes, waste procedures, and opening/lock-up protocols.
  5. Provide hands-on cleaning support and respond to requests.
  6. Deliver safety and COSHH training regularly and maintain accurate records.
  7. Schedule and assign duties to cleaners, ensuring standards are met.
  8. Organise rotas and submit accurate timesheets to the management team.
  9. Manage equipment, materials, stock levels, and place orders as needed.
  10. Maintain good relationships with customer representatives on site.

Key Skills:

  1. Experience as a Cleaner or Cleaning Supervisor is desirable.
  2. Ability to build credible relationships.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  4. Experience with audits and ISO 9001, 14001, and QHSAS 18001 standards.
  5. Strong listening and motivational skills.
