Location: St Crispin's Special School
Salary: £24,346 - £24,646 (pro rata for part-time and sessional)
Hours: 15 per week, 38 weeks sessional, Monday - Friday 4pm - 7pm
As a cleaner with the City of Edinburgh Council, you'll be a key member of our Facilities Management team. You'll deliver a vital cleaning service across our estate to ensure our properties are safe and clean places to work or learn. Enjoy secure and flexible employment with above-market rates and excellent conditions, while balancing family, caring, or studying commitments.

*Facilities Management is responsible for keyholding to enable opening and closing of buildings. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be required to be a key holder, including operation of security alarm systems, securing premises, and ensuring safety upon closing.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If you have spent more than 3 months outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
