Overview

Salary £12.60 per hour • Permanent, Part Time, 10.5 hours per week • Skelmersdale Police Station, Skelmersdale

Responsibilities
  • Carry out cleaning duties at Skelmersdale Police Station as part of the Facilities Management Team for Lancashire County Council.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks such as damp wiping, damp mopping, vacuuming, toilet cleaning, and washroom cleaning.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness; be flexible to cover sickness, holidays, or additional service demands.
  • Work hours: Monday to Friday, 10.5 hours per week with contracted start times (examples include 06:00–08:30 on Monday and 06:00–08:00 Tuesday–Friday).
  • Travel to the work address: Southway, Skelmersdale, WN8 6NH; ensure you have means of travelling to the address.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High standards of cleanliness expected; prior experience is desirable, but full training and ongoing support will be provided.
  • All applicants will be subject to Police Vetting; there is a three-year UK residency requirement for Police Vetting. A formal offer of employment cannot be issued until Police Vetting is successfully completed.
  • This position is part-time; the salary quoted is a full-time equivalent. If successful, salary will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
