We are looking to recruit a Cleaning Operative to join our facilities team at Whitegate Drive Health Centre. Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor, you will work individually or as part of a team to ensure designated areas are kept clean and hygienic.

Hours: 6pm to 9pm, Monday to Friday (15 hours per week). Pay: £12.60 per hour.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  1. Cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuuming, emptying litter bins, polishing, and dusting designated areas, including toilets and shower areas, using powered equipment where appropriate.
  2. Moving furniture as needed.
  3. Complying with health and safety regulations, statutory and company instructions.
  4. Assisting in other establishments when required.
  5. Responding to incidents such as accidents, fire, theft, damage, or irregularities, and completing necessary reports.
  6. Attending meetings as scheduled.
  7. Performing duties as required during staff absences.
  8. Developing skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
  9. Following company policies and procedures at all times.

About you

You should be aligned with our values, motivated, and able to work well in a team. Experience in a similar role and in customer-facing environments is preferred. The role is subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
