Cleaning Operative Night Shift at Ulster University Belfast Campus

• Position: Cleaning Operative (Night Shift)

About the Role

Bidvest Noonan is seeking to hire Cleaning Operatives for our customer at Ulster University Belfast Campus.

The primary responsibility of the Cleaning Operative is to ensure that their designated area is cleaned to the specified standards, following established procedures and health and safety regulations.

Location

• Ulster University - Belfast City Centre

Hours of Work

• Full-time, permanent
• Monday to Friday, 10pm - 6am
• £12.60 per hour

Responsibilities

1. Reinforce our vision to be our clients' "partner of choice"
2. Dust, control/vacuum, and mop floors
3. Empty and reline waste bins
4. Dispose of rubbish appropriately
5. Wash walls, ledges, desks, doors, glass, fixtures, fittings, and chairs as per specifications
6. Clean stairs and handrails by washing, sweeping, and damp dusting as per specifications
7. Maintain cleanliness of toilets and washrooms
8. Complete all scheduled cleaning tasks
9. Sign off on checklists as required
10. Operate cleaning machinery such as burnishers and scrubber dryers
11. Comply with health & safety regulations, manual handling, and COSHH
12. Perform any reasonable work instructions to the required standard

Education and Experience

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• Customer service skills and a focus on customer care
• High standards of personal presentation
• Ability to follow instructions and use initiative
