Location: Laurus Cheadle Secondary School

Salary: £12.65 per hour

Hours: 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday 06:00 - 08:00

Contract: Permanent

DBS: All school-based roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check, in line with “Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023”. DBS results will be considered and risk assessed in partnership with the school safeguarding lead.

Responsibilities include:
  • Daily cleaning of all areas to a satisfactory standard with regular inspections.
  • Implement and adhere to Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of equipment and machinery, report faults.
  • Complete administrative duties such as timesheets and ordering supplies.
  • Assist in training cleaning staff.
  • Keep store rooms and sluice areas clean and safe.
  • Organize staff cover during absences.
  • Liaise with site management on cleaning matters.
  • Handle minor disciplinary and grievance issues, escalate as needed.
  • Perform other reasonable duties.
