Job summary

Concept Resources is seeking a Cleaning Operative to provide temporary holiday cover at a high street bank in Chichester. This part-time evening role offers 20 hours per week at £16.00 per hour.

The successful candidate will perform general cleaning of banking premises, offices and staff areas, with duties including vacuuming, dusting, and waste disposal, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. DBS and right-to-work checks are required.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Basic DBS check required.
• Adverse financial check required.
• Valid Right to Work documentation.
• Ability to work independently and reliably.
• Good attention to detail and timekeeping.
• Must be available for the full remaining holiday cover period.

Responsibilities

• Working independently to complete daily cleaning duties.
• Following site-specific cleaning procedures and health and safety guidelines.
• Ensuring the premises are left clean, tidy and secure.
• Using a telephone-based clocking-in and clocking-out system.
• Key holding and operating alarm systems where required.

Duties

• General cleaning of banking premises, offices and staff areas
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
• Dusting and wiping down surfaces
• Cleaning toilets, kitchens and communal areas
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
