Job description

Cleaning Operative (Fixed-term Contract), Redhill

Atlas Workplace Services is seeking an experienced and reliable commercial/office cleaner for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Redhill.

Job Details

• Full-time – 15 hours per week
• Working hours: Monday - Friday, 6pm - 9pm
• Rate: £12.60 per hour

Responsibilities

• Ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards, following safety protocols and the Site Cleaning Manual.
• Dusting and cleaning all office surfaces, reception areas, and meeting rooms.
• Maintain the office kitchen, including replenishing consumables, cleaning microwaves and refrigerators.
• Vacuuming carpeted areas, cleaning toilets and replenishing supplies, mopping hard floors, and emptying bins.
• Wash crockery and utensils, including operating the dishwasher.
• Maintain health and safety standards, ensure equipment is cleaned and stored correctly, and respond courteously to customer requests.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in a similar cleaning role.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and handling, including understanding of Material Safety Data Sheets.
