Salary:

£13 per hour

Contract:

Part-time, Monday to Friday, hours flexible between 0800 and 1600, accommodating school or childcare commitments

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team at HMP Eastwood Park, a closed category adult female prison. Join a supportive team working Monday to Friday to create a safe and nurturing environment. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, you will contribute to the smooth and safe operation of the facility, impacting prisoners, staff, visitors, and the wider community.

You will work alongside experienced colleagues including plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, and administrators, all committed to making a positive difference. If you have experience in cleaning, knowledge of COSHH and health and safety requirements, and excellent organizational skills, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform cleaning tasks to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
2. Follow COSHH guidelines and health & safety protocols.
3. Organize cleaning schedules and manage time effectively.
4. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a secure environment.
