Job description

This is a Monday-Friday position, working day shifts, HELLO WEEKENDS!!!!!!

Staffline are keen to speak with experienced Hygiene, cleaning, caretaker operatives, who have worked within the food manufacturing industry.

This is a varied physical role, and in a fast-paced environment.

In your new role as a Hygiene Operative:

The role will require you to deliver and demonstrate the following competencies:

  • To operate and maintain effective cleaning schedules.
  • Assisting in monthly Internal GMP audits and also helping to meet site accreditations.
  • Complete relevant hygiene records
  • Carry out cleaning operations in accordance with hygiene schedules.
  • Report to Team Leader at start of shift for any special cleaning instructions.
  • Maintain hygiene equipment in a serviceable condition and report any damage or faults.
  • Complete relevant training when required.
  • Jet washing
  • Cleaning and clearing debris from communal external and internal areas
  • Moving and lifting
  • Liaise with all departments across the site.
  • Dealing with and rectifying defects raised from site inspections

To be considered for the role as Hygiene operative:

Food safety qualification

Forklift truck Counterbalance licence

Experience of maintaining a clean operating environment, working in a fast moving Food Manufacturing environment.

Working to Targets

Clear understanding of ISO 9001/BRC, Health & Safety, Food Safety, Hygiene, HACCP, COSHH and pest control and familiarity with relevant food legislation.
