Cleaning Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Operative based at St John Ambulance Aylesbury.

Working patterns:

Monday to Friday 6.00am - 8.00am

Key Accountabilities:

• Maintain an allocated building or area within a building to a high cleaning standard, ensuring customer satisfaction through quality service as per contract specifications.
• Empty waste bins or similar receptacles and transport waste to designated collection points.
• Sweep floors with brushes or dust control mops.
• Mop floors with wet or damp mops.
• Suction clean carpeted areas and perform spot cleaning as needed.
• Use electrically powered scrubbing/polishing machines to clean floors after proper training.
• Dust, damp wipe, wash, or polish furniture, ledges, windowsills, and external surfaces of cupboards, radiators, shelves, and fitments.
• Replenish consumables (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels) as required.
• Clean toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, and drinking fountains.
• Use chemical agents as directed, after proper instruction and training.
• Perform wall washing or inside window cleaning up to a height reachable from the floor with extension tools.
• Carry out other reasonable duties within the scope of the role.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection guidelines.
• Perform any other duties as required by management.
