Job summary

JD Distribution Centre is recruiting Cleaning Operatives in Rochdale. Multiple shifts are available: 7:00–15:00, 12:00–20:00, 15:00–23:00, and 23:00–07:00, all with 4 on/4 off patterns. Earn £12.87 per hour on day/evening shifts, £13.98 on the night shift.

Duties include cleaning communal areas, sweeping, mopping, waste disposal, stock replenishment and safety compliance. The role involves meeting high cleanliness standards and promptly addressing customer queries and issues, with on-site work

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain communal areas as directed
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Empty bins and ensure proper disposal of waste
• Replenishment of supplies and material requirements
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, including shelves and equipment
• Report any maintenance or key operational issues
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Ensure that a consistently high standard of service is delivered
• Ensure all customer queries and complaints are dealt with in a timely and effective manner

Shift options

• Monday - Friday 7.00am -15.00pm 4 on 4 off £12.87
• Monday - Friday 12.00pm-20.00pm 4 on 4 off £12.87
• Monday - Friday 15.00pm-23.00pm 4 on 4 off £12.87
• Monday - Friday 23.00pm -7.00am 4 on 4 off ( Rate £13.98)

General cleaning to include (but not restricted to):
