Job Description:

Cleaning Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Operative based in Arriva - Leicester.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain assigned building areas to a high cleaning standard, ensuring customer satisfaction as per contract specifications.
2. Empty waste bins and transport waste to designated collection points.
3. Sweep floors with brushes or dust control mops.
4. Mop floors with wet or damp mops.
5. Suction clean carpeted areas and spot clean carpets.
6. Use electrically powered scrubbing, polishing, and spray cleaning machines after proper training.
7. Dust, damp wipe, wash, or polish furniture, ledges, windowsills, radiators, shelves, and fixtures.
8. Replenish consumables like soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels as needed.
9. Clean toilets, urinals, sinks, and drinking fountains.
10. Use chemical agents as directed, after receiving proper instruction and training.
11. Perform wall washing or inside window cleaning up to a height of body plus arm extension during periodic maintenance.
12. Perform other reasonable duties within the scope of the role.
13. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection guidelines.
14. Undertake any additional duties as required by management.
