Job summary

Gov Facilities Services Limited (GFSL) is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join the facilities maintenance team at HMP Littlehey. The role is full-time and permanent, working Monday to Friday to uphold a clean, safe, and secure environment for prisoners, staff, and visitors.

Experience in cleaning, COSHH knowledge, and strong organisational and people skills are essential. GFSL offers a comprehensive benefits package, including generous holiday entitlement and additional non-contractual

Salary: £27,276.60 per annum

Contract: Full Time/Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team at HMP Littlehey, a Category C Adult/Male prison.

Future Plans.

GFSL has been notified by it's shareholder (MOJ) that the provision of FM Services will in future be delivered by the private sector. This means that following a successful procurement process, GFSL's services will complete transfer to a private sector provider/providers no sooner than August 2027.
