Gov Facilities Services Limited (GFSL) is seeking a Cleaning Operative for HMP Lewes. The role is permanent, part-time (29.25 hours per week), with a salary of £20,457.45 per year.

You will join a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Team working to keep the prison safe and orderly, Monday to Friday, as part of a broader mission to support rehabilitation and secure operations. You will be part of a supportive team of trades and cleaners, contributing to a safe, clean environment for prisoners, staff

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team at HMP Lewes, a Category B & Adult Male prison.

Future Plans.

GFSL has been notified by it's shareholder (MOJ) that the provision of FM Services will in future be delivered by the private sector. This means that following a successful procurement process, GFSL's services will complete transfer to a private sector provider/providers no sooner than August 2027.
