Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Cleaning Operative at Heathrow Airport, working 38.5 hours weekly on a 4 days on/4 days off night shift from 18:30 to 06:30.

You will ensure equipment is kept clean, safe, and maintained, meeting SLAs and following cleaning schedules and health and safety requirements. The role requires basic English reading/communication, with prior cleaning experience desirable but not essential, and a flexible, reliable, and proactive attitude.

Job description

We're looking for a Cleaning Operative who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules.

Rate of Pay: £14.80 per hour

Shift Pattern: 4 days on/4 days off, 06:30pm -06:30am (night shift)
Location: Heathrow Airport, Building 1156, Newall Road, Hounslow, Greater London, England TW6 2RZ

In your new role as a Cleaning Operative, you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

In order to be successful in this role you will need have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You'll need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
