Cleaner — Bellingham — Part time

20 hours per week

Monday and Wednesday 8:00am - 4:45pm and Friday 8:00am to 12:00pm

£12.60 per hour + Sodexo employee benefits package

What you'll do

• Maintain a tidy appearance and professional conduct at all times.
• Clean all assigned areas to the required standard within the timeframe given.
• Ensure appropriate safety signage is used (e.g. wet floor, trip hazards).
• Follow company regulations on personal hygiene and appearance, including the use of uniform, safety shoes, and PPE.
• Carry out periodic cleaning programmes as directed.
• Comply with COSHH regulations when handling chemicals, ensuring safe and economic use at all times.
• Immediately report defective equipment to the line manager.
• Communicate cleaning material requirements.
• Work in line with Company Health and Safety Procedures to maintain a safe system of work.
• Support colleagues with departmental responsibilities once duties are completed.
• Actively develop skills and knowledge within the role.

What you'll bring

• Previous experience in a similar role within the service industry.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
