Job summary

Mitie is looking for a Cleaning Operative to help create clean, safe spaces at Park Lane Academy in Exley. This permanent role offers 16 hours per week with a Monday to Friday pattern and a straightforward shift schedule.

You will follow cleaning schedules, meet SLAs, and maintain equipment in a safe condition while delivering excellent customer service. A proactive, reliable approach is valued, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate and read basic English.
• Cleaning experience desirable but not essential.
• Flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Reliable and hardworking with a professional demeanour.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order.
• Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules.
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used.
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training.
• Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service.
