Job summary

Rathmore Grammar School in Belfast is seeking a Cleaning Operative to join the school’s cleaning team. You will clean classrooms, corridors, toilets and shared areas, empty bins and replenish supplies, and use cleaning products safely as part of a friendly team.

Reliable and punctual candidates who can follow Health & Safety procedures are preferred. Previous cleaning experience helps but is not essential, and safeguarding checks apply.

About the role

Join our school cleaning team and help keep the school clean, tidy and safe for pupils and staff.

You'll be:

Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets and shared areas

Emptying bins and replenishing supplies

Using cleaning products and equipment safely

Reporting any issues or hazards

Working as part of a friendly team

We're looking for someone who is:

Reliable and punctual

Happy working independently and as part of a team

Comfortable with cleaning duties

Able to follow Health & Safety procedures

Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential

This role is subject to the required safeguarding and pre-employment checks.
