Carlisle Support Services is seeking enthusiastic, reliable individuals to join our Cleaning team in Coventry. Full training and ongoing support will be provided to help you succeed and develop your career with a growing, market-leading brand.

You will work on trains, cleaning interiors, toilets, and surfaces to high standards, with progression opportunities and a competitive hourly rate paid monthly. A strong team mindset and professional appearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Preferably some experience in a cleaning environment and teamwork.
• Reliable, flexible, and professional in appearance.
• Good communication with clients and colleagues.
• Willing to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Clean train interiors to the required WMT Presentation standards.
• Clean and sanitize toilets.
• Hoover floors and seating areas.
• Litter picking and emptying waste bins.
• Wipe tables, seats, windows and other interior surfaces.
• Mop floors where required.
• Replenish toilet and cleaning consumables.
• Report defects, damage, safety concerns or issues identified during cleaning.
• Follow COSHH requirements, health and safety procedures and site instructions.
• Work effectively as part of the Train Presentation team to ensure all allocated units are completed to the required standard.

The role

Carlisle Support Services is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our Cleaning team, working with our prestigious clients. Your core role will include but not be limited to the following activities:

• Cleaning train interiors to the required WMT Presentation standards
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets
• Hoovering floors and seating areas
• Litter picking and emptying waste bins
• Wiping and cleaning tables, seats, windows and other interior surfaces
• Mopping floors where required
• Replenishing toilet and cleaning consumables
• Carrying out cleaning tasks within the allocated time to ensure trains are ready for passenger service
• Reporting any defects, damage, safety concerns or issues identified during cleaning
• Using cleaning chemicals and equipment correctly and safely
• Following COSHH requirements, health and safety procedures and site instructions
• Work effectively as part of the Train Presentation team to ensure all allocated units are completed to the required standard

Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes. This could include the following: passport, driving licence, utility bill dated in the last 3 months, HMRC letter, original bank statement, original payslip, birth certificate or a valid share code.
