Job description

We are looking to recruit a Cleaning Operative for one of our static sites in Chelmsford, CM1.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 5:30pm - 8:00pm
• 12.5 hours per week
• £12.21 per hour

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in a cleaning environment is essential.
• IT literate (use of tablet, smartphone apps).
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English).

Core Responsibilities - Cleaning Operative / Cleaner:

• Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, hand rails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors, and frames.
• Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops.
• Mopping floors with wet or damp mops.
• Hoovering of carpeted areas.
• Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points.
• Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use.
• Replenish consumable items e.g., soap, toilet rolls, paper towels (if contractual).
• Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins, and sinks.
