About the Role

ESS has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cleaning Contract Manager to lead cleaning operations at Goodenough College, London. This is a high-profile leadership role, responsible for ensuring exceptional standards of cleanliness, service, and compliance in line with client expectations and Compass Group procedures.

We’re looking for a strong operator with proven people management skills, able to deliver consistently in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality cleaning services to agreed SLAs and Compass standards
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the cleaning team
  • Manage labour, equipment, and resources within budget
  • Oversee stock levels, consumables, suppliers, and contractors
  • Uphold health & safety regulations (including COSHH) and Compass procedures
  • Act on client and customer feedback promptly and professionally
  • Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure team compliance with company updates and policies
