Overview

Compass Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cleaning Contract Manager to lead the cleaning operations at a site in London. This is a key leadership role where you'll be responsible for delivering high standards of cleanliness and service in line with client expectations and Compass Group procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure high-quality cleaning services are delivered in accordance with the client's service level agreement and company standards
  • Implement and uphold Compass policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations (including COSHH)
  • Lead, motivate and manage the cleaning team effectively
  • Oversee the cleaning labour, equipment, and resources budget
  • Manage third-party suppliers and contractors as required
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels of consumables and cleaning supplies
  • Handle customer feedback, including complaints and compliments, professionally and promptly
  • Monitor and meet key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Keep the team informed and compliant with any updates to company processes and procedures
Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will have strong operational and people management skills, as well as the ability to maintain high standards in a busy, customer-focused environment.
  • Previous experience in a similar contract or facilities management role
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, including COSHH
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good numerical skills and budget management experience
  • Proficient with IT systems and digital reporting tools
