Overview
An exciting opportunity within Stirling Council for a Cleaning Assistant at Strathblane Primary School, Stirling, with coverage at other locations within a reasonable distance from the school.
The post will involve providing 15 hours per week professional cleaning service on a 39 weeks per year term-time basis between 3.15pm - 6.15pm Monday - Friday, paid at Stirling Council Grade 1.
Responsibilities
- Carry out professional cleaning duties, including lifting heavy items and cleaning surfaces to head height; operate cleaning machinery including electric buffing machines, scrubber dryers and vacuum cleaners; work effectively and safely when required to work alone.
- Use personal protective equipment, tools and training provided.
- Maintain basic working knowledge of IT and undertake training to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children and Adults. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
