A leading company is seeking a Cleaning Assistant to join their Operations Team at the Cooper Associates County Ground in Taunton. We have a new opportunity for an experienced Cleaning Assistant to join our Operations Team! You will undertake regular cleaning of Club offices and other facilities at the Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton, and be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas.
Your tasks will include cleaning, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping surfaces and fixtures, as well as waste disposal. You will refill and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries, maintain cleaning products, and order supplies when necessary. Additionally, you will manage Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) and undertake monthly deep cleaning duties. Routine inspections, maintenance activities, and reporting issues or repairs to the Safety Officer will also be part of your responsibilities. Occasionally, minor maintenance tasks such as replacing toilet seats or unclogging sinks may be required.
You should have demonstrable experience in a similar role and knowledge of reading and interpreting MSDSs. You are detail-oriented with strong organizational, customer service, time management, and planning skills.
Honesty, trustworthiness, and a proactive, can-do attitude are essential. You should be comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team. Punctuality, friendliness, and approachability are also important qualities.
You must be eligible to work in the UK.
