GLL is seeking cleaners to work at Gateshead International Stadium. If you have the skills and ambition, this is an exciting opportunity to join our team. As a Cleaning Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing a high-quality and efficient cleaning service, ensuring a clean and tidy environment that meets the centre’s high customer care standards.

What you’ll do:
  1. Follow the cleaning schedule to ensure all daily, weekly, and monthly tasks are completed to an excellent standard, including cleaning all public toilets, offices, studios, and other areas.
  2. Perform tasks such as sweeping and mopping floors and skirting boards; dusting surfaces; sanitising all touch points; removing cobwebs; cleaning windows, doors, signage, and lighting; and emptying bins.
  3. Check daily supplies of toilet rolls, hand soap, and blue roll, restocking as needed.
  4. Check cleaning equipment and materials daily, requesting top-ups as required.
  5. Maintain high hygiene standards at all times.
