GLL is looking for Cleaning Assistants to work at Robinson Pools and Fitness, based in Bedford.

As a Cleaning Assistant, you’ll be enthusiastic and hard-working with a real attention to detail as you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of the centre. Our Changing Areas and Gym can be very busy, so you’ll need to thrive in this setting.

Adhering to Health and Safety requirements and regulations is crucial, so you’ll need to be conscientious to carry out all duties to meet our high customer care standards. Ideally, you’ll have experience of cleaning in a busy environment with good customer care skills and knowledge of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health). If you don’t yet have it, we’ll provide full training on machinery and chemical use.

What you’ll do:
  1. Day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of the centre.
  2. Adhere to Health and Safety requirements and regulations.
  3. Clean, restock, and supply designated areas.
  4. Complete deep cleaning as scheduled.
  5. Conduct area checks.
  6. Perform stock checks and maintain supply rooms.
  7. Assist with sandwich preparation for visiting groups.

  • Knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH.
  • Conscientious and committed attitude.
  • Ability to meet high customer care standards.
  • Great team player.
  • Ability to multitask in busy areas based on customer feedback.
