Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in the United Kingdom is hiring a Cleaning and Waste Operative to work in a warehouse environment. You will perform general cleaning and tidying across all areas, including washrooms and canteens, using the appropriate cleaning equipment and products.

This permanent role offers a 6am to 2pm shift (7.5 hours per day) on a 4 on/4 off rota, with a pay rate of £13.38 per hour. You will join a team focused on health and safety and reliable waste disposal management.

In your new role as a Cleaning and Waste Operative, you'll be working within a warehouse environment as part of our cleaning and waste team. Your duties will include general cleaning and tidying of all areas within the warehouse including washrooms and canteens. You'll use appropriate cleaning equipment, materials, and cleaning products. You will ensure all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order. You'll need to react quickly to call-outs from the client and comply with all Health & Safety legislation and policies (all training will be provided).
