Blatchington Mill School in Hove is seeking cleaners to join our Facilities Team. We offer part-time and full-time posts with flexible arrangements.
Part-time roles are 17.5 hours per week at £13.69 per hour (term time with some holidays). Full-time roles are 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, with salaries SCP 7-8 (£11,175–£11,353 or £27,274–£27,709) and eligibility for the Local Government Pension Scheme. DBS clearance required.
Job Role
We are looking for cleaners to join an established team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness at this large secondary school. The team works in areas across a large and varied site, managed by a team leader. The duties include a wide range of general school cleaning and restocking and duties include some occasional lifting.

The core hours are 3.30pm - 7pm Monday to Friday.
Most roles are term time only but there is the opportunity for holiday working as well.
The full time salary for this role is £27,274 per annum, however for the part time role the salary will be prorated accordingly (as above), pay is the same each month of the year. The hourly rate for the post is currently £13.69.
There is the opportunity to join the local government pension scheme with generous employer contributions.
