About Armfield Academy

Armfield Academy is an all-through school for children aged 3-16. We are an inclusive academy committed to providing the best possible education for all children in our care. We focus on achieving excellent educational outcomes by addressing each child's diverse social and learning needs with appropriate challenge and care. Our curriculum is ambitious and provides a solid foundation for success. “Leaders have created a clearly designed curriculum, which builds from when children join in their Reception Year through to the end of Year 11.” (Ofsted February 2023).

Our vision is reflected in our values: pride in our Academy; respect; integrity; and the pursuit of excellence in academic attainment and social accomplishments, underpinned by resilience. We aim to provide a safe, healthy, stimulating, and exciting environment with access to a broad, balanced, and relevant curriculum for all.

All pupils are encouraged to develop lively and enquiring minds, independent thought, and an appreciation of knowledge that nurtures wisdom and responsibility. Our school's philosophy is based on academic excellence, respect, tolerance, resilience, self-discipline, and self-confidence.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals wishing to join a strong team as we strive to become the very best. “Leaders have given high priority to providing pupils with information about possible careers and the next steps they may need to take to achieve them.” (Ofsted February 2023).
