A community support organization in Galston is seeking a part-time worker to assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment. This temporary role involves working 13 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of £12.96 per hour. Applicants must comply with PVG requirements. Assist with the delivery of a clean and safe user environment within various premises across East Ayrshire to support the promotion, delivery, and integration of the Council's key objectives, including the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value.
The duties involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will need to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member for Regulated Work with these groups, or if already a member, undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update, before a formal employment offer is made. PVG records are regularly updated, and any relevant disclosures will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.
