Location: Aviemore - Lagganlia Outdoor Centre
Hours: Tuesday to Thursday, 07:00 - 15:00
Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour
Duration: Temporary 6 weeks (with possible extension)
Start Date: Immediate

This role requires a PVG Certificate (£59 for a new application or £18 to update an existing certificate). A full driving licence is preferred due to rural location, which is not easily accessible via public transport.

About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable and hard‑working Cleaner to join our team on‑site for an initial 6‑week assignment — with the possibility of extension. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a busy, friendly environment where no two days are the same. The site includes one main building with 125 beds and five self‑catering lodges, so you’ll need to be physically fit and comfortable working across a large area. Please note there are no lifts in the buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning corridors and communal areas
• Mopping floors
• Cleaning offices and bathrooms
• Emptying bins and managing waste disposal
• Maintaining high hygiene standards in the common room and general areas
• Cross‑contamination cleaning on high‑touch surfaces
• Cleaning the on‑site juice bar

Please note: bedrooms are generally not cleaned mid‑week, but flexibility is essential to cover other areas as required. This is an active role, with some outdoor and potentially muddy areas to clean — a positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential.

About You

• Full driving licence preferred, due to the rural location
• Physically fit and able to move around a large site
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
