Job summary

Our client in Birmingham is seeking a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner for a part-time, term-time-only role. You will work Mon-Fri, 3:00pm-6:00pm, cleaning classrooms, corridors and facilities to a high standard.

The ideal candidate has prior cleaning experience, a keen eye for detail, reliability and punctuality. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience, preferably within a school, office or commercial environment.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain and pay for
• Strong eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets and communal areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop and dust to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Empty bins and replenish cleaning supplies as required.
• Keep the school environment clean, hygienic and welcoming.
• Follow COSHH guidelines and health & safety procedures.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to the Site Team.
• Work independently and as part of the cleaning team.

Our client is currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join a friendly and welcoming school in Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cleaner looking for a part-time, term-time-only position, working Monday to Friday during the afternoon.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets and communal areas.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and dusting to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Emptying bins and replenishing cleaning supplies when required.
• Ensuring the school environment remains clean, hygienic and welcoming.
• Following all relevant health and safety procedures, including COSHH guidelines.
• Reporting any maintenance, cleaning or health and safety concerns to the Site Team.
• Working effectively both independently and as part of the wider cleaning team.
